On April 26, 2024 the CMMC Midwest Conference was held. Several professionals from within the industry for cybersecurity or related/supporting fields gathered to discuss developments or tutoring under said subject. ShockStarter played a role in the conference, assisting in the build-up and tear down of the event hosted at NetApp. They also created graphics and banners for the event such as a table cover, itinerary, name cards, and visual elements for screens.
My personal involvement with the event is in relation to the digital media presented behind the speakers at the event. I designed and developed a motion graphic video that would also utilize a still screenshot of the title slide. The purpose of the animation was to display the sponsors and supports of the event during downtime in-between presenters or other general breaks in discussion. Alongside this, I assisted in broadcasting the presentations the presenters provided alongside visual media from Kansas government officials. The overall event lasted approximately 9.5 hours with excellent crowd engagement for the whole duration.
This event also happened on my last shift for ShockStarter. On April 29th I'll be starting computer science with Ennovar!
